To everyone that's supported us this year many thanks from me and Olly. Have a great Christmas and New Year break.
Speaking of which, on New Years Day -
7pm BBC Radio WM 95.6FM - you'll be able to hear me taking part in the annual Wolverhampton Community Show New Years Day quiz (hope I can get to phone a friend) - it'll be a lively show (hopefully we'll be over the New Years Eve hangovers by then). Also taking part are Birmingham writer/comedian Andy Newsham, veteran BBC and Midlands Country Music presenter Jim Duncan, local actor/broadcaster Ashley Wilkes, Media columnist Darwinder Bansal, Peter Bagley from Help The Homeless, Rita Beddard from Wolverhamptons Volunteer Centre and Peni Prance from WCR - Wolverhampton. The usual nutty production crew for the show consisting of Saul Abner / Martyn Haynes / Steve Carter and Andy Walters will be creating havoc as ever and probably asking the most pointless questions ever to be included in a quiz show.
For those of you outside the West Midlands area you can listen to the digital and streamed on-line broadcast by visiting
www.bbc.co.uk/wm - it'll either be a bench mark in local broadcasting history...or leave us all mentally scared for the rest of 2006.
As for 2005...well to quote Charlie Dickens from A Tale Of Two Cities seems apt -
'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.' But things have looked up for us since our gig with Martin Stephenson at The Little Civic - Wolverhampton - in Nov - definitely the best nights work we've done all year - a lovely gig. Our appearance at the Love Music Hate Racism - WHO SHOT THE SHERIFF? film screening in Wolverhampton at the beginning of December has also been a bright light for us. We team up again with LMHR at our Little Civic headline in FEB 2006 (see the gigs page of this site for more details).
So - have a great festive season and we'll see you in 2006 - Keep On Keeping On.

Thanks to those that turned up and supported the screening of the Rock Against Racism / Love Music Hate Racism documentary film Who Shot The Sheriff? at The Light House Cinema - Wolverhampton on Saturday. We enjoyed the gig. The film is great and I hope it becomes available on DVD. There's some great footage and interviews in it.
The appearance of the Rahimi Family was a very poignant moment for all that attended.
We really enjoyed our 'definitive' unplugged appearance - it was a cool little gig. Thanks for the response and feedback we received after the film and to those that added themselves to our mailing list - your support is very much appreciated.
We hope to team up again with some more live work under the banner of Love Music Hate Racism...stay tuned.

Just a quickie bit of info. It's just been bought to my attention that we are advertised in the December edition of Ryans Gig Guide as taking part (and me promoting) a date at The Lamp Tavern - Dudley on Sat 17th Dec. THIS IS NOT SO. I cancelled the date back in Oct.
Our next appearance (at the time of adding this update) is The Light House Cinema in Wolverhampton on Sat 10th Dec. We will be doing a short acoustic set prior to the screening of the Rock Against Racism documentary film WHO SHOT THE SHERIFF?
