If you get the chance to see this film or even better - purchase a video or DVD copy then do. It was released in 2002 - but I only got to see it last night (in the company of Tipton's very own Funk Brothers - Paul & Maca Gullick - nice one lads) @ the splendid setting of the Light House Cinema in Wolverhampton. A few drinks (non-alcohol for me people - on the waggon now - new regime etc, etc,) after in the newly opened Lock Bar inside the complex and they were playing some chilling soulful grooves in there as well - nice one Patrick.

Sad news of Wilson Picketts death yesterday of a heart attack at 64 years of age. Another legend lost. Left us some fantastic soul songs that will live forever though.

We're set to headline (full band line-up) at The Little Civic in Wolverhampton on Thursday 23rd Feb. The evenings event takes the title of
Ogden's Nut Gone Thursday Night in honour of The Small Faces ground breaking 60's classic concept album and this night will be breaking new ground at the venue with a mix of great live music featuring ourselves and special guest Belfast born / Birmingham based singer songwriter

Joel Lane. The Wolverhampton branch of
Love Music Hate Racism will have a stall at this event with information leaflets on the local campaign plus t-shirts and badges on sale. Ticket prices are £5:00 each £6:00 on the night. Doors open 7:30pm - bar till 11pm.
