We've been included on the BBC Birmingham & Black Country web sites 'Year In Music' round up of 2006 - alongside such luminaries as Scott Matthews and Birminghams Jazz legend Andy Hamilton. That's a nice neighbourhood to be hanging out in...and is much better than one of those MBE / CBE thingy's that other people have been awarded today!!!
Honestly - Rock n' Roll and the establishment - what's it all about!!!? Read all about it @
Birminghams Year In MusicThanks to Ciaran Ryan, Loyd Williams and last but by no means least Janice Long at the BBC for their support this year.
Here's to 2007

Hello Groovers - we're included on another wicked Podcast radio show coming out of Brum - suitably known as 'BRUMCAST' and presented by 'Little Chris Downing'. For all you old John Peel style radio show fans - Chris is The Man - a cracking eclectic mix of artists on the Birmingham underground music scene. We're featured on this weeks show - Show 29 which you can access from either of these links
http://ipodnetworks.com/caster/363/info_1328.php or visit Chris at his MySpace page
www.myspace.com/brumcastbirminghamThere's certainly some great suff on the Internet at the moment - shows produced by people for the right reasons - they're total fans of what they're playing and play what they want...NO Corporate pressure. Another we'd like to recommend - if you like your grooves a little more acoustically chilled - although just as eclectic - is the wonderful Scotland based DJAY BUDDAH produced AFCollective Show.
You can access this via the following links
http://afcollective.podbean.comor
www.myspace.com/afcollectiveacousticmusicshow - DJAY's own MySpace page is via
www.myspace.com/howff - we featured on the first broadcast that DJAY did - hopefully if I get him a pint in Newcastle next week (yes Payola type bribes are still rife in these kind of broadcasts - ha ha ha) we'll feature on future ones as well. Seriously - DJAY has been a good supporter of us and has found another string to his bow with these podcast shows, he's playing some cracking stuff - have a listen.
Respects and keep the groove wide.
