The Little Civic gig in Wolverhampton on Sat 16th June has been cancelled owing to a complete cock up by the venue.
This just adds to other recent live gigs fiascos that I really do not need.
Totally fuckin' pissed off with the whole poxy business.

Well - at the risk of this loooking more like a football web site at the moment than a music one - just to say (in the style of Willie Dixon)...
'Got my ticket (for Wembley), got my load' - 'Conducter holler "all aboard"!Just wish we where playing in traditional blue & white stripes (home kit) instead of an all Black! away kit. I mean WHY when Derby play in white shirts and black shorts can the Albion not wear our traditional blue & white striped shirts/ white shorts/white socks!
Anyway - in the Black Country style of old Slade song titles 'Cum On Yo Baggies'

What a night - 1-0 at The Baggies against The Dingles to put us in the Play Off Final at
WEMBLEY against Derby County. Still got to win that to gain a return to the Premiership - but last night was about local pride as well...still it'll be a shame to waste it all and not beat Derby to do a proper job - so
C'mon yo' Baggies -
WEMBLEY HERE WE COME!
After watching the Wolves v Albion game on Sunday in the company of Dave Tucker at one of his local pubs - it's us there for real tonight at the Heavenly Hawthorns. What a game on sunday at the Custard Bowl - The Baggies have a slender goal advantage (3-2)...can we keep the Wulufs' from the door to Wembley...let's bloody hope so - JESUS IS AN ALBION FAN...C'mon yo' Baggies!!!
Well - we gave it a right go...but it was not to be. Thought the lads gave it their all against a very good Leamington side who have proved worthy winners of the league and became the first club to do the double in the Midland Alliance. We were so close - two minutes to go when Leamington got the equaliser - so close, but in the end so far.
For the neutral (if there were any there last night) - yes Leamington were on top, did hit the woodwork twice, and Tipton's keeper Danny Watson was in inspired form...but no more on top than we were in our last performance at Bescot in last seasons Walsall Senior Cup Final - when we totally dominated the game against Bolmere - but they scored and hung on - we couldn't hang on last night and Leamington got their just rewards in extra time with a fine second goal.
Last night was Kev (Jenna) Jennings last game as Chairman of the club - he feels he's taken the club as far as he can, I'd just like to say a personal thanks to Kev and to all the staff involved at the club - General Manager Bill Williams, Team Manager Johnny (Bonk) Hill, Ade, Duffus, Secretary Angie - EVERYONE involved (John's Mom Pat, Scouser etc, etc) for putting the club on a platform and a profile over these past few years that we've never had before. We have punched far above our weight - we have very limited finances to operate with...hardly any in fact. It's only revenue through the gates that the club has to work with - and to be honest our regular home support is very poor. Yes - we've had some great followings in the big games we've taken part in - last night was a great turnout around 400 or so I'd say, the same in last years final at Bescot and who can forget the great travelling support for our away leg in the FA Vase up in Jarrow a couple of years ago (around 200 or so) and then the record crowd at Tipton for the return leg (over 600) - but we need more people through the gates at Tipton for the club to carry on how it has the past few years. Tipton Town FC get no revenue from the bar at the stadium - even though in my opinion it's main customers are on match days. It's no good sitting in the bar - we need you through the gate.
Well done to Leamington for achieving the double...BUT AN EVEN BIGGER WELL DONE TO ALL AT TIPTON TOWN FC.
Here's to next season...in strip like Juventus...C'mon The Toon!

Okay - its gearing up for the big one - never mind promotion / relegation / Albion & Wolves in The Play Offs / The FA Cup or The European Cup - the one that really matters is Tipton Town FC take on the mighty Leamington in the final of The Midland Alliance League Cup - be a part of a record breaking crowd for this final - played at Walsall's Bescot Stadium tonight (3rd May).
The BBC/Black Country web site have done a great feature on Tipun'-
read it hereThen come along and give the lads a shout. BBC Radio WM and also WCR FM (Wolverhampton) are previewing the game on their sports programmes - WCRs feature is included in their lunch time local sports round up today at 12:45pm - tune into WCR 101.8FM - or visit
www.wcrfm.comWe pulled over 500 to our last appearance in a final at Bescot last year (The Walsall Senior Cup - let's hope the results different this year) - this is much bigger and Leamington have a regular following of over 500 - even more for this final.
The two clubs supporters have a good relationship. Leamingtons story is a bit of a fairytale and one of everything that a 'community football club' should be about. The old Leamington Brakes club nearly went under years ago - but the community rallied around and started a new club and built a new ground. The whole club has a tremendous infrastructure and have reaped the rewards of their hard work by dominating the Midland Alliance League this season - they have been worthy winners...but this is the cup and a one off...and Tipton have a chance to do a 'Wimbledon' over the Midland Alliances 'Liverpool' - it's what football's about...a bit of passion / pride and the romance of a 'minnow' coming good.
C'mon The (Tipun') Toon!!!
