Next one up…Tower of Song

This Saturday 26th October I’ll be playing an opening support slot to the excellent Tom Martin’s Celtic Soul at The Tower of Song in Kings Norton – Birmingham…looking forward to it, the last one was a great gig. Check the LIVE DATES page for details.

ADDITIONAL LIVE DATES info…Unfortunately the gigs at The Barn in Ledbury that were scheduled for Sat 2nd Nov and Sat 7th Dec have been CANCELLED due to circumstances out of our control and regarding the venue and local council authorities. Hopefully dates can be re-arranged for next year.

Thanks for the support…

Thanks to all that turned up at The Wellington for the last Songwriters Session of 2019. Special mention and thanks and appreciation to… Debbie O’Dea πŸ’šπŸ’š Paul Butler and Richard Cullis (who travels all the way from Worcester to support these gigs and has done since the start of them two and a half years ago), to Brian Williams who has also been a regular this year, to Lisa Pountney and Paul for coming today and have also supported me this year, to β€˜Brian The Cheese Man’ from The Welly who has also been a regular to nearly all the sessions I’ve put on…the others for making it as well today, sorry don’t know all your names (including The Daintees fan who’s seen me a few times over the years with them) some new faces as well – thank you for your support and last but not least to the songwriters that have played them. I’d waited 30 odd years to be a part of a night like Friday night at The Troubadour …it was one of those nights you dream about when you start off in this game…a cool famous London club gig where the whole night was a blast πŸ‘πŸ’šπŸŽΆ people make places and last night The Troubadour was full of the best of folk …Rich Ragany & The Digressions were brilliant and The Dirty Strangers with Guy Griffin from The Quireboys guesting on guitar with them did what they alway do and took the party to the highest level it was a fantastic night …and if the live music wasn’t enough the tracks that DJ Cruel Valentino spun into the early hours were Boss Sounds…me and Deb stumbled out there about 3am in the early hours of Saturday morning …Thanks to everybody at the gig – special THANK YOU to Paul Clayton and Alan Clayton for the booking great to meet Terry Cedar as well and always good to see me old mate Steve Finn …London well and truly rock n rolled last night πŸ™‚ x
