Thanks for your support in 2019 all the best for 2020 x

On a musical level thereโ€™s been some wonderful gigs ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽถ thanks to everyone that supported the Songwriter Sessions at The Wellington in Birmingham, most appreciated, I had some great guests on with me – thanks to Ian Passey Tom Martin from Liverpool we had Marc Vormawah and David Nixon the brilliant Birdbrother featuring Paul Beadle and Philip Stapley to Paul McDonald John Robinson and the King of the Welsh Gypsies Ben Wildsmith and also the wonderful session that featured Jess Silk and Jodie Schofield

I got around as much as possible with gigs at The Barn in Ledbury and returning gigs at the award winning Tower of Song in Cotteridge and the Lamb & Flag in Worcester – two lovely gigs there…and The Artrix Theatre in Bromsgrove with The Official Receivers was a cracker…but the icing on the cake has to be performing at The Troubadour in London as guest to my old mates The Dirty Strangers one of the finest rock n roll bands for the past 30 odd years featuring original members Alan Clayton and Patrick Scott Mulvey …thanks to Paul Clayton for the invite to play that – it was a wonderful gig…looking forward to doing it again in May 2020.

I also released two download singles the first one back in March called Patricia and the recent one Time of Your Lifeโ€ฆ/time-of-your-life released in Dec – thanks to Rick Lambe and Paul Butler for there work on these with me.

Take care in 2020 and have The Time of Your Life #onelove xx

BREAKING NEWS…very pleased to announce that I’ll be doing a solo acoustic support slot to the brilliant Official Receivers Soul Band at the Artrix Theatre in Bromsgrove on Fri 1st Nov. It’s the last tour the band are doing after a 28 year legacy of classic soul nights. Really looking forward to it – if it’s half as good as the last time here (three years ago…wow…where did that time go?!!!) you’ll be in for a cracking night …GIG Details on the live dates page

Next one up…Tower of Song

This Saturday 26th October I’ll be playing an opening support slot to the excellent Tom Martin’s Celtic Soul at The Tower of Song in Kings Norton – Birmingham…looking forward to it, the last one was a great gig. Check the LIVE DATES page for details.

ADDITIONAL LIVE DATES info…Unfortunately the gigs at The Barn in Ledbury that were scheduled for Sat 2nd Nov and Sat 7th Dec have been CANCELLED due to circumstances out of our control and regarding the venue and local council authorities. Hopefully dates can be re-arranged for next year.

Thanks for the support…

Thanks to all that turned up at The Wellington for the last Songwriters Session of 2019. Special mention and thanks and appreciation to… Debbie O’Dea ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š Paul Butler and Richard Cullis (who travels all the way from Worcester to support these gigs and has done since the start of them two and a half years ago), to Brian Williams who has also been a regular this year, to Lisa Pountney and Paul for coming today and have also supported me this year, to โ€˜Brian The Cheese Manโ€™ from The Welly who has also been a regular to nearly all the sessions Iโ€™ve put on…the others for making it as well today, sorry donโ€™t know all your names (including The Daintees fan whoโ€™s seen me a few times over the years with them) some new faces as well – thank you for your support and last but not least to the songwriters that have played them. Thanks again – thereโ€™ll be the odd occasional ones next year…I would also like to thank Jess Silk Jodie Schofield and Paul Beadle who have not only played sessions but also turned up as punters on other sessions to support the gig. THANK YOU ALL ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽถ
